Confirmed: Things that are ‘in the works’, still being worked on, and other stuff coming up in Live Updates..

  • Housing: It sounds like Blizzard is trying to figure out if
they can make it work. It confirmed that they are very interested in
making both Housing and Guild Halls a reality. This will be a future
live patch, and will most likely be a instanced Neighborhood within
major cities. It seems they might not be able to include this in the
    expansion.
  • More weather effects. In the 1.10 patch notes, it is
mentioned that they will be adding more Weather effects later down the
    line.
  • Grim Batol: The old home of the Wildhammer dwarves,
before it was tainted by the slaying of their attacker, Modgud, wife of
Thaurissan of the Dark Iron dwarves. The Grim Batol entrance exists
near Khaz Modan. The last known happenings of Grim Batol: A freed
Alexstrasza destroyed nearly all the Dragonmaw clan orcs that were
hiding in Grim Batol. The rest of the Dragonmaw orcs were put into
interment camps by the Alliance. Apparently the only inhabitants of
Grim Batol right now, are Alexstrasza and her Red Dragon Flight, and
possibly a small remaining force of Wildhammer dwarves in service to
Alexstrasza. It is now a breeding area for red dragons. Blizzard has
commented that this will be a "max level questing area" since beta.
Also, Grim Batol is supposed to be a replica of Ironforge.
  • Azshara Crater. This is the fourth Battleground. This
has been in game geometry nearly from release of the game, yet they've
been pushing it back time and time again, citing balance problems. No
idea when we will see this actually added to the game.

  • Stormwind Prison/The Vault: I really don't know the
idea behind this, but there is another dungeon similar to Stormwind
Jail/Stockades, but slightly bigger. It's there. I'm not sure what's
    happening with it.
  • Code:
The Black Morass: Previously, it was thought that the
Black Morass (the first home of the Horde when they came to Azeroth)
would be a zone - there is a space south of redridge that could be
used. It seems now that you will be able to travel through time using
the Caverns of Time, and visit the Black Morass in the past - before
the Dark Portal destroyed it, where you will help Medivh open the Dark
Portal to bring the Horde to Azeroth.
  • Code:
Northrend: I doubt if any of the northern islands contain
Northrend. In my opinion, this chain is the Broken Isles. Northrend is
where Arthas, the Lich King, calls home. He commands Kel'Thuzad's
attacks in the Plaguelands. Northrend also contains Azjol'Nerub, the
Nerubian fallen kingdom, Ulduar, and Icecrown, the place of the 'Frozen
Throne'. This will most likely be a future Expansion, after TBC.
  • Ravasaur Trainers: This has been all but completely
confirmed. Ravasaur Trainers in Un'Goro Crater will eventually be able
to dispense Ravasaur Mounts. When, is unknown.
  • Code:
Mount Hyjal: The zone between Felwood and Winterspring.
This is where the Horde, Alliance and Night Elves defeated Archimonde
the Defiler. According to some rumor and Lore, someone is trying to use
the remaining pools at the top of Hyjal to create a new Well of
Eternity. We now know there will probably be a Hyjal Battleground or
instance, but it is still unclear if this will ever be released as a
real zone. By all accounts, present-day Hyjal is a massive 40-man
    outdoor raid instance.
  • Dream Bough, Bough Shadow, Twilight Dream, &
Seradane (The Emerald Dream): These are the entrances to The Emerald
Dream, an alternate reality of Azeroth where sentient beings never
existed. Verdant, green, untouched by industry and war, the Emerald
Dream is normally only accessed by druids, and the green Dragon Aspect
Ysera, and her followers. These are the portals are now inhabited by
world dragons, who have been driven mad by some dark taint in the
Emerald Dream (Taerar, Emeriss, Ysondre & Lethon). Most likely a
    seperate expansion.
  • Code:
Dalaran: The bubble you always see in Alterac/Hillsbrad.
Once a powerful city of mages and politicians, Dalaran Magocrats (The
Kirin Tor) erected the impenetrable bubble after Archimonde destroyed
the city, in an attempt to rebuild their city unhampered.
  • Old Ironforge: It has become apparent that the geometry
exists for Old Ironforge. I can imagine this may be an instance,
possibly a questing area, but sounds even cooler as a battleground.
This is part of where the actual massive "Iron Forge" resides.
  • Gilneas: Zone south of Silverpine forest. When the
plague began spreading in Lordaeron, the humans and elves occupying the
peninsula of Gilneas decided to close their gates to keep the plague
out. No one knows if this worked. Currently, the peninsula doesn't even
    exist in the game geometry.
As a sub-item under Gilneas, the outlying islands off the coasts of Lordaeron and Khaz Modan...
o Kul Tiras: This is an island owing their allegiance to the
Alliance. Would probably be part of the Northrend or Maelstrom
Expansion, but may come sooner. After Jaina Proudmoore left with most
of the Fleet, the fate of Kul Tiras is unknown.
o Tol Barad: An island-prison used by Kul Tiras. Supposedly this is now Purgatory Isle (In game).

o Crestfall: Another island within the nation of Kul Tiras, close by. Not in-game.

o Zul'Dare: An island-nation of trolls. South of Gilneas.

o Tomb of Sargeras/Broken Isles/Suramar: A former elven city before the Implosion, this island chain was raised off the floor by Gul'Dan in order to wake Sargeras. It is my belief that this island is in the chain northeast of the Maelstrom.
      o
    Code:
Dragon Isles: Another island chain where supposedly many of the dragon flights used to roost, possibly in the above mentioned chain.

  • Uldum: Southern Tanaris, a future instance that may
complete the Uldaman questions about the origin of dwarves, and the
    elements of stone.
  • Code:
Ulduar: This isn't in any zone, but is a sister location
to Uldum and Uldaman. Located in Northrend. These three are ancient
places, supposedly built by the Titans.

  • A Frost-based Instance: Widely rumored that
Winterspring will host a frost-based dungeon, possibly in one of the
following sub-areas: Dun Mandarr, Mazthoril, the Door in Frostwhisper
    Gorge, or Timbermaw Post/Hold.
  • Undermine: The secret home of the Goblins, ruled by the
Merchant Princes, is rumored to be an island in the southern seas of
Azeroth. This may be added - not as a hostile territory - but a neutral
island. Would probably be part of the Northrend or Maelstrom Expansion.
  • Code:
[i]The Ruins of Lordaeron: Lordaeron: This has become a new battleground arena. [/i]
  • Code:
Tirisfal Grove: Rumored to be the first place the High
Elves landed before sailing on to what is now Quel'Thalas. The elves
left this land because of an evil feeling below the land. This area is
currently the far west part of Tirisfal.
  • Ruins of Old Stormwind: North of Stormwind is a large
area which one could only guess is the ruins of Old Stormwind - which
was decimated by the Fel Orcs in the Second War.
  • Naz'jatar/Zin'Azshari/The Maelstrom. Plenty of ideas
surround how this will turn up in the game, but the fact remains, the
former capitol city of the High Elven followers of Queen Azshara is
somewhere in the middle of the Maelstrom, and by all counts, the Queen
and many of her now-Naga followers still live there.

Confirmé pour la prochaine Expension (pas Wrath):

New Graphic Engine!
